Make the most of your study time with group study rooms at Rutgers Libraries.

You asked for online reservation of group study space and we listened! We are delighted to announce that starting this week, group study room reservations can be made online.

Looking for a free room for group study or presentation practice? Go to Group Study Space page on your computer or, using your smartphone, click “reserve a room” on the mobile website for the Libraries. Pick the room and the time you want. Reserve it with your Rutgers NetID.

"It is as easy as abc," Mei Ling Lo, Math/Computer Science Librarian, said. "It works like flight or hotel bookings. The calendar allows you to see what is available. No more disagreements between students about access to these rooms because each reservation comes with an email confirmation."

The group study online reservation program allows you to select the space that meets your needs. You can review information about the occupancy of each group study space and the amenities available--computers, digital displays, whiteboards--before making your reservation.

"Group study rooms are highly popular especially during exam time," Mei Ling Lo said. "Study with a partner or in groups, and peer teaching helps you engage and memorize the information."

Next time, before your exam, take out your smartphone, book a room, and study with your friends. For more information or to book a group study room, please click here.
