IJS Associate Director Appointed to The American Archivist Editorial Board

Adriana P. Cuervo, CA, Associate Director of the Institute of Jazz Studies (IJS) at Rutgers University-Newark, has been appointed to a four year term on the Editorial Board of The American Archivist beginning on August 6, 2016. Established in 1938, The American Archivist is the leading publication in the archives field. Published semi-annually by the Society of American Archivists, this refereed journal is available both in print and online. The journal features research articles, case studies, perspectives, and international scene pieces as well as reviews of professional literature, archival technologies, and resources. Cuervo joined the IJS in July 2013 after working at the Sousa Archives and Center for American Music at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for eight years. She has a MSLIS from the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at UIUC and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music History from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia.
