1. Agenda approved

2. October meeting minutes were circulated via e-mail, please send corrections by the following week.

3. Chair Report (including Allocations update) – Womack.

Ryan is sending out files comparing $ spend on YBP with Coutts $ projections. These files will be loaded on the NBCG Sakai site. We will hold off fine tuning profiles until all areas are completely assessed, as Ryan has already noted that some have very disparate $., and those varations need to be addressed by the group.

1st Coutts shipment arrived 1st week of November.

Nonstate allocations are received and close to final distribution.

4. Team leaders are working on allocations

This year fund codes will be expended to 100%. There are also "transfer" funds that will allow $ to be moved in to funds to account when overages occur due to price changes or exchange rates. Ryan will supply more information on these funds in future meetings.

Development funds (begin with a "D") have been carried over for several years and should be expended this year. They are not intended to be saved, so please expend asap. They total $44,000 for 23 subject areas. If you have a question about these funds, contact Ryan.

5. LRC Update: Elsevier will be offering a ‘relief’ package.

There should be one-time money available in the spring, so keep central requests coming in.

Usage stats are coming through for database use and also individual journal titles; these are available in the Resources area of the Selectors/Liaisons Sakai site. Gracemary will provide answer to a question about whether the count means a download or viewing.

Liaisons discussion planned for March 5 RUL Faculty meeting.

6. Distributed Technical Services

Move of serials from Harrassowitz to Ebsco is beginning in January.

7. Approval plan analysis

Training was scheduled for December 2-3.

It is possible to block/exclude individual titles from forthcoming shipments via the "Print pre-publication Match".

Spread sheet/lc classification used to define policies is not as granular as the one we worked with when devising the plan; therefore actual plan is less specific.

In general, Coutts is not picking up the interdisciplinary areas as well as Yankee; "very LC based."

Coutts discounts are 18.5% for both firm and approval; this discounted price shows up in 'shopping cart.'

No publishers list yet available.

The continuing extensive discussion on Oasis searching, ordering led to decision to compile a list of questions by sending concerns to the NBCG Sakai list. Ryan will send out email reminder about this.

9. Announcements

Liaison coverage is a continuing issue: perhaps a task force is needed to look at responsibilities. This will be put on the agenda for December.

Gracemary will post analysis of on-site usage-item use done at shelving in all units.

RU_wide subscription to Chronicle of Higher Ed now available to all.

10. Adjourn
