Jonathan Sauceda (PhD, University of North Texas) is the Music and Performing Arts Librarian and interim Librarian for Spanish/Portuguese, Latinx, and Latin American Studies at Rutgers University-New Brunswick where he performs instruction, reference, and collection development. Jonathan is the Editor of the Technical Reports and Monographs in Music Librarianship Series for the Music Library Association. His scholarship—which has been published in Notes, Popular Music and Society, and portal: Libraries and the Academy—focuses on Latin American art and popular musics and music librarianship, specifically regarding methods for engaging students in music special collections, graduate student research pedagogy, and diversity in the field. He teaches on information literacy, New Jersey music history, music librarianship, and graduate music research methods.
