How do I get a password?

If you are an affiliate borrower who does not have a NetID, you will need to set up a password to use in combination with your library barcode in order to log in to QuickSearch to view full search results, check your account, renew books, or place requests. If you are eligible for remote access, you can also use your library barcode and password to log in from off-campus. You can get a temporary password immediately by visiting the circulation desk of any Rutgers library.

If you established a PIN prior to June 5, 2018, you can continue to use that to log in to QuickSearch. We encourage you to change to a strong password, which you can do in the My Account section of QuickSearch.
