Celebrating Pride Month
Universitywide
June is Pride Month! Join us in celebrating lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer pride.
We encourage you to explore the Libraries' transgender and LGBTQIA+ resources at libguides.rutgers.edu/trans. The Transgender Issues and Resources research guide showcases valuable material on transgender and LGBTQIA+ issues at Rutgers University Libraries and beyond, including the Babs Siperstein Humanities and Medicine Seminars. The Siperstein Seminars take an inclusive and intersectional approach to broaden the understanding of LGBTQIA+ issues. They strive to build healthcare workers' capacity and knowledge base, thus increasing their ability to provide more comprehensive and holistic health care.
This guide was created and is maintained by Kayo Denda, head of the Margery Somers Foster Center and Women's Gender And Sexuality Studies Librarian. It was edited in the spring of 2020 by Whitney Kehl, MI '21, archives and preservation.
