ProQuest Ebook Central
Some books have simultaneous user limits.
You may check out and download full books and read them in the Ebook Central app, available for Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android. See the guide from ProQuest for more information.
ProQuest Ebook Central contains over 400,000 ebooks from various publishers across a wide range of academic disciplines. The collection includes books from major university presses and other scholarly publishers. Titles are added to the collection regularly, and titles are also sometimes removed from the collection.
Books can be read online in your web browser. Most books can also be checked out and downloaded for offline reading in the Ebook Central app, a free reader app designed for ProQuest Ebook Central. To download a book, first create and log into an Ebook Central account. Then when you choose to download a book, the download process includes a registration code and a prompt to install the Ebook Central app. After downloading and opening the app, enter the registration code to sync your account to the app and download your books. You can also generate a code anytime in your Profile section on the Ebook Central website. You may install the app and access your downloaded books on up to 6 devices.
For many books, a limited number of pages per book can be printed or downloaded as PDFs. Download permissions and the number of pages available for printing or download vary from book to book due to publisher restrictions.
Creating a ProQuest Ebook Central account, in addition to allowing you to download books, also allows you to highlight and make annotations while reading books in your browser. Books you highlight or annotate will be listed in the Bookshelf section of your account.
