Candid
Foundation Directory has been renamed Candid and is moving to a new platform. The old platform, Foundation Directory, remains available but will be fully retired as of July 20, 2026.
Candid provides information on more than 100,000 foundations, corporate giving programs, and grant-making public charities in the U.S. For each grant-making organization, the directory lists its purpose and activities, fields of interest, geographic focus, type of support, application information, and grant limitations. The database also includes recently awarded grants, grant recipients, and recently filed IRS information returns (Forms 990 and 990-PF). The collection is updated daily with new grants and RFPs. A wide variety of filters are available to help you find the grants for which you are eligible.
This database is the electronic counterpart and continuation of the print publication Foundation Center Directory.
