A Global History of Epidemics, 1800-1970

A Global History of Epidemics, 1800-1970 is a collection of digitized primary source materials documenting major epidemics. It includes correspondence, official government reports, diagrams, photographs, film footage, pamphlets, and more. These documents show how medical treatments and approaches to public health have developed over time. The materials in this collection were sourced from The National Archives, UK and the British Film Institute, but the collection is global in scope because it includes records from British consular staff reporting on outbreaks within the British Empire and around the world.
