Music Video Collection (Alexander Street)

Music Video Collection consists of streaming video performances of classical, opera, rock, and pop music. The focus is primarily on Western music, though some non-Western music is included. The majority of the collection is in the area of Classical music and opera, including the Baroque through Contemporary periods. It features performances by leading conductors, performers, and ensembles from around the world. In addition to videos of classical and opera performances, there are interviews, masterclasses, and documentaries. A smaller but significant number of videos are in the areas of rock and popular music. The collection includes the videos from the following sub-collections:
