Parker Library on the Web is a digitized collection of handwritten books from the Parker Library at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University. The collection includes books from the 6th through the 16th centuries. Texts are mostly in Latin, Anglo-Saxon or English. The Parker Library collection, assembled by Archbishop Matthew Parker in the late 16th century, includes texts on religious history from the early Middle Ages through the Reformation. The Parker Library is particularly rich in texts from Anglo-Saxon England, including the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle (c. 890), and texts in Middle English, including Geoffrey Chaucer's Troilus and Criseyde. A small number of brittle manuscripts were not digitized.
