Description

Qwest TV EDU is a collection of streaming videos of live performances of jazz, funk, soul, hip-hop, folk, indie, electronic, blues, Motown, and eclectic world musical genres. It also includes documentaries and interviews with musicians. The collection's focus is Black music and its global legacy. It includes performances from renowned jazz artists of the past such as Miles Davis, Billie Holiday, Dizzy Gillespie, Duke Ellington, John Coltrane, and Nat King Cole, as well as performances by innovative global artists who blend a variety of musical influences. The collection is co-created by jazz musician Quincy Jones and producer Reza Ackbaraly.
