Shakespeare's Globe Archive is a collection of digitized production and architectural materials from the reconstructed Shakespeare’s Globe theater in London. Shakespeare’s Globe is a modern reconstruction of the original 1599 Globe Theatre where Shakespeare’s works were originally performed. This collection includes documentation of the design and completion of the reconstructed Globe. It also includes materials from over 300 productions at the Globe and the adjacent Sam Wanamaker Playhouse dating from 1997 – 2016, including prompt books, show reports, music scores, wardrobe notes, posters, props, programs, performance photographs, oral histories, and research materials. These productions include both works by Shakespeare and works by other playwrights.
