The Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals is an index of journal articles published worldwide on architecture and design, archaeology, city planning, interior design, landscape architecture, and historic preservation. Avery Index contains over 800,000 entries from over 3,000 American and international journals. These include scholarly and popular periodical literature, publications of professional associations, American state and regional periodicals, and the major serials on architecture and design of Europe, Asia, Latin America, and Australia. Avery Index also includes over 20,000 obituary citations, which provide biographical data for less-published architects.
