Description
British and Irish Women's Letters and Diaries consists of more than 400 years’ worth of personal writings by women of Britain and Ireland. Around 500 writers are represented. The collection documents the evolution of diary and journal writing, and it includes multiple formats such as travel diaries, personal diaries, letter diaries, and other formats. It consists of approximately 100,000 pages of previously published materials and approximately 4,000 facsimile pages of previously unpublished manuscripts.
