Description
On the America’s Historical Newspapers platform, Rutgers owns several Early American Newspapers series, which total over 1,500 newspapers published between 1741 and 1922 in the United States. The platform offers the ability to search and browse within this body of newspapers. Each newspaper is fully digitized and searchable, including articles, advertisements, editorials, letters to the editor, poetry, fiction, reviews, cartoons, and obituaries. Publications from all 50 states are included, and there are a variety of search options, including limiting by state.
Rutgers owns Series 2-7 of Early American Newspapers on this platform. Rutgers does not have access to any other series of Early American Newspapers.
