The Periodicals Archive Online platform contains hundreds of journal backfiles for popular and scholarly journals in the arts, humanities, and social sciences. It includes the complete run of each journal from its first issue through the early 2000s (or, if it ceased publication earlier, through its final issue). Each journal issue has been fully digitized and indexed. The majority of the collection in in English, but it also contains some foreign-language journals. Periodicals Archive Online contains the full text of many of the journals indexed in Periodicals Index Online.
