Help Us Make A Difference on Rutgers Giving Day

Universitywide

To say that the past few months have been difficult would be an understatement. We have experienced injustice and unrest, all in the midst of the devastation and loss caused by a global pandemic. We know that many in our community mourn for those taken by disease and violence. We mourn with you.

Rutgers strives, in all that it does, to give the world hope. Today, Rutgers Giving Day, we ask that you take a moment, if you are able, to support a Rutgers cause that gives you hope. In the face of extraordinary difficulty, we can still better the world together.

Gifts to the University Librarian's Academic Excellence Fund will be used to fund the Libraries' Open and Affordable Textbooks (OAT) Program, which awards Rutgers faculty who make their courses more affordable for their students by using low-cost materials, library content, or open educational resources.

In this time of hardship for so many in our communities, providing equitable access to the materials needed for a quality education through programs like OAT is a great way for us support those who need it most. Please join us by making a gift today.
