Brill’s Medieval Reference Library is a collection of the following four reference works in medieval studies:

  • Encyclopedia of Medieval Pilgrimage (2009)
  • Encyclopedia of the Medieval Chronicle (2010, with 2016 update)
  • Encyclopaedia of Medieval Dress and Textiles of the British Isles c. 450-1450 (2012, with 2016 update)
  • Brill's Encyclopaedia of the Middle Ages (2016)

Within these books, there are over 4000 entries on aspects of medieval history, culture, and belief, accompanied by over 200 illustrations. You may search within all four works simultaneously or search or browse within an individual work. These four works have also been published in print; this collection contains their electronic counterparts.
