Rutgers University Community Repository, or RUcore, is Rutgers University's institutional repository. RUcore collections and services advance research and learning, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and contribute to the development of new knowledge through the presentation and archiving of digital resources.

RUcore permanently preserves and provides access to original research products and papers of Rutgers faculty and students, videoconference proceedings, and other unique resources.

Rutgers University Libraries provides the Rutgers Pressbooks (watch demo) service allowing authors to create, remix, and publish open access content.

Pressbooks is a WordPress-based platform that allows authors to write and design their own books and openly publish in a single interface. This content can be original materials or authors can import existing OER materials to mix and adapt. Pressbooks makes books available in multiple file formats including PDF, MOBI, EPUB, and additional XML formats.

The Rutgers University Libraries publish five active open access journals, using Open Journal Systems (OJS) to support electronic peer review, online submission, and management of content. Important user features include email notification, commenting ability for readers, and article level download statistics. We assign Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to all journal articles, and archive all journal content in our institutional repository, RUcore.
