Citation Management

Keeping track of sources, organizing references, and formatting citations can be time-consuming and complex, especially for large research projects. Citation management tools make it easier to collect, organize, and cite your sources correctly.

The Libraries provide training and consultation on citation management tools such as EndNote, RefWorks, and Zotero. We offer guidance on:

  • Evaluating and selecting appropriate citation management tools
  • Importing, organizing, and sharing references
  • Adding citations and footnotes to your research paper
  • Generating properly formatted bibliographies
