Digital National Security Archive contains digitized declassified government documents preserved by the nonprofit research institute National Security Archive, covers U.S. foreign, military, and intelligence policy, chronicling critical world events from post-World War II through the 21st century. Digitized documents include presidential directives, essays, memoranda, policy papers, reports, telegrams, photos, and more. Many of these have not been made available previously and were gathered through extensive use of the U.S. Freedom of Information Act.
