Early Modern Collection

Early Modern Collection contains digitized materials from the British Isles and Europe for the period 1450-1700, including books, broadsides, pamphlets, speeches, news reports, sermons, religious & political tracts, periodicals, and manuscripts. In total, it includes materials from over 225 source libraries worldwide. It includes materials from 2 collections:

• Early English Books Online: English language materials from 1700 and prior.
• Early European Books: European language materials from 1700 and prior.

Early Modern Collection thus allows you to cross-search materials from 1700 and prior in English and all European languages. 

Early Modern Collection may be cross-searched with other history databases in ProQuest One History.
