Description

Ethnographic Video for Instruction and Analysis (EVIA) Digital Archive is a streaming video collection of ethnographic field recordings representing a wide variety of geographic areas; religious, ethnic, and cultural groups; music and dance traditions; and music performances, rehearsals, and other music events. It also includes ethnographic interviews. Videos are annotated by the researchers who created them. Videos in EVIA have been selected for inclusion by an editorial committee, and annotations have undergone a scholarly review process. EVIA is a joint project of Indiana University and the University of Michigan.
