The Rutgers University Libraries invite you to join us for a rousing musical program by the Rutgers University Glee Club and remarks by Patrick Gardner, Director of Choral Studies at the Mason Gross School of the Arts and conductor of the Glee Club.

This event will be held Wednesday, November 6th, starting at 6:00 p.m., in the Scarlet Latte cafe on the lower level of Alexander Library. The library is located on the College Ave. Campus in New Brunswick.

The Glee Club, founded in 1872, is one of the oldest and most distinguished men’s choruses in the United States. For more information on the Glee Club, see: http://gleeclub.rutgers.edu/~rugc/history/

This program accompanies the major exhibition, On the Banks of the Raritan: Music at Rutgers and New Brunswick, which is on view in Gallery ‘50 on the first floor and the Special Collections and University Archives Gallery on the lower level of Alexander Library. A reception, sponsored by the Mason Gross School of the Arts, will follow the musical program.

To RSVP for this event, send an email to events@rulmail.rutgers.edu or call 848/932-7505.
