Elsevier

100% of Article Processing Charges (APCs) covered for Elsevier hybrid journals through contract negotiated by Rutgers University Libraries. To qualify, the article must be accepted between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2028 and a responsible corresponding author must be a current affiliate of Rutgers University. There is a cap each year on the number of articles that will be covered under the agreement. The cap increases each year beginning at 269 articles in 2024 and increasing to 485 articles by 2028.

Institute of Physics (IOP)

100% of Article Processing Charges (APCs) covered by Rutgers University Libraries contract negotiated through BTAA. Covers nearly all of IOP and society partners’ journals (58) and 18 Gold OA journals. Corresponding authors must identify themselves as Rutgers affiliates and use their institutional email address as part of the IOP publishing workflow.

Microbiology Society

100% of Article Processing Charges (APCs) covered by Rutgers University Libraries contract negotiated through BTAA. To qualify, the article must be accepted between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2025 and have a responsible corresponding author from a BTAA institution. Authors must identify themselves as affiliated with Rutgers University and use their Rutgers email address as part of the publishing workflow.

To qualify, the article must be accepted between March 19, 2024 and December 31, 2026 and the responsible corresponding author must be a current affiliate of Rutgers University. There is a cap each year on the number of articles that will be covered under the agreement. This information will be updated each year when the cap is reached.

Wiley

100% of Article Processing Charges (APCs) covered by Rutgers University Libraries contract negotiated through the BTAA. Unlike the 2022 contract, this new 3-year agreement (2023-2025) covers all Wiley open access titles including hybrid OA, Gold OA, and Hindawi. Corresponding author must be a Rutgers affiliate.
