Poster Printing

Large Format Poster Printing Instructions

****Please Click Here for the Large Format Printing Submission Form****

Please allow a minimum of 24 to 48 hours to print your poster. This gives us time to ensure that it's printed with the best possible quality and accuracy. Our print center is open weekdays from 9am-5pm, so submissions outside of those hours (or near the end of those hours) will be started the next weekday, with a completion time 24-48 hours starting from that time.

NOTE: We do not have poster tubes for sale. We also do not ship items, all orders are for pick up at our office.

Pricing and Payment

Pricing is determined by physical size and paper quality. Please note that the printer’s maximum width is 44 inches wide, but we can print whatever length you need (example: 44 x 80 is possible, but 48 x 48 is not due to both sides being over the 44 inch wide maximum).

Paper Type Cost (per square foot)
Standard paper (bond) $3.00
Semi-Gloss paper $4.00
Photo quality paper (glossy) $5.00

*A poster size 48”x36” print would have an area of 12 square feet, costing $36.00 for standard paper, $48 for Semi-Gloss, and $60.00 for Photo paper.

There is a minimum charge of $5 per unit for any print job, and the smallest file that can be submitted is 11 inches by 17 inches (we are a large format print center, so items smaller than this should be printed elsewhere).

The fine print: by submitting the request form on the submission page the requestor agrees to pay for services according to the rates described in the description of services, and acknowledges that the Scholarly Communication Center is not responsible for any degradation in quality caused by errors made by the requestor in creating or storing his/her digital files. The Requestor also agrees to abide by Title 17, US Code and University licensing agreements which govern the printing of copyrighted materials.
