Description

Eagleton Poll Archive is a collection of historical public opinion polls on major policy concerns, state issues, and key political races in New Jersey. The complete poll questionnaires and numeric data are available, and all questionnaires are completely indexed. Users can search for polls by keyword or browse by subject or poll number/date.

The polls were conducted by the Eagleton Center for Public Interest Polling (ECPIP) at the Eagleton Institute of Politics, which has been conducting regular polling in New Jersey since 1971. Generally, four polls were conducted per year, and they deal with a variety of social and political topics of interest to New Jersey citizens. For each poll, approximately 1000 people were polled via telephone by the Eagleton Center for Public Interest Polling.
