The Economist Intelligence Unit
The Economist Intelligence Unit is the research and analysis division of The Economist Group, the sister company to The Economist magazine. Rutgers subscribes to two sets of current reports from The Economist Intelligence Unit: Financial Services Report (accessed via the EIU Viewpoint interface) and Country Commerce. After linking to The Economist Intelligence Unit, select EIU Viewpoint to access Financial Services Report, or select Country Commerce to access Country Commerce.
Financial Services Report is a comprehensive guide, updated twice a year, to changes in financial services, operating conditions, regulations, and monetary policy in the world's 62 principal financial markets. Sectors covered in each report include banks; insurers; asset managers; and markets for stocks, bonds, currencies, and derivatives. The EIU Viewpoint platform also includes data on global outlooks, commodities, industry briefings, country forcasts, country reports, market indicators & forecasts, and more.
Country Commerce is a practical reference guide to the specific operating conditions, commercial laws, and business regulations in 55 countries. It offers unbiased guidance on critical issues such as obtaining proper permits and registrations, protecting your intellectual property, and complying with local tax laws. Country Commerce Global reports are updated annually.
Rutgers' subscription also includes access to two discontinued report series dating from earlier years: Country Monitor and Country Finance. Rutgers also has access to The Economist Intelligence Unit's special reports, webinars, and Global Forecasting Service. Rutgers does not have access to any other reports or products offered by The Economist Intelligence Unit.
