Description

On the Mintel platform, Rutgers University Libraries subscribes to Mintel Reports, which are product and industry market research reports covering U.S. markets.Rutgers has access to reports in the following areas:

  • Beauty & Personal Care
  • Drink
  • Food
  • Foodservice
  • Health & Wellbeing
  • Household
  • Lifestyles
  • Retailing & Apperal
  • Technology & Media
  • Travel

Each report combines data and analysis of the competitive landscape, supply chain, market-share size and trends, and consumer profiles. Complex demographic issues are broken into easy-to-understand sections, explaining consumer behavior and demonstrating the structure of the market. All research reports are compiled by Mintel, and they include selected data from consumer survey research firms such as Simmons National Consumer Surveys and Harris Interactive. Reports also include retail sales figures from Information Resources, Inc. and trade associations. New and updated reports are released monthly. To download report sections, you will need to create a personal account on the Mintel platform.

Mintel also produces reports in additional subject areas and on other platforms. Rutgers does not have access to any of these other reports.
