ProQuest Trends & Policy is a collection of curated topical sets of U.S. government documents, federal statistics, and news coverage coupled with contextual features designed to trace policy development and outcomes. Some of the topics include Civil Rights, criminal justice, environment, healthcare, and immigration. For each topic, the collection incorporates primary sources from all three branches of government, complemented by selected news articles and statistical analysis using data extracted from Federal government reports. Some of the government document types included are public laws, hearings, bills, Congressional Research Service reports, U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) reports, executive agency reports, and downloadable federal statistics.
