To access this database, under "Access Database," select INDSTAT4.

Industrial Statistics Database: INDSTAT 4, located on the UNIDO platform, contains highly disaggregated data on the manufacturing sector from 1990 to the present. It allows you to compare date over time and across countries so you can analyze the structural transformation of economies. The database contains seven principal indicators of industrial statistics. Data are organized by manufacturing sector and sub-sector at the 3- and 4-digit level of the International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities (ISIC) Revision 3 and 4. In total, this includes more than 150 manufacturing sectors and sub-sectors.

This database is produced by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). UNIDO also offers other subscription databases on their platform, but Rutgers does not subscribe to any of the other databases.
