Roper Polls

The Roper Center for Public Opinion Research brings together public opinion data from surveys conducted in the United States and around the world. The database has two searchable components:

  • iPOLL is a compilation of over 700,000 questions from public opinion polls on a broad range of topics. Questions can be searched by keyword, topic, date, or source. Only polls of the United States population at the national level are included.
  • Datasets consists of 12,000 U.S. and 8,000 international dataset abstracts. Some datasets are interlinked to their questions in iPOLL. Many datasets can be downloaded, and they can also be analyzed online using Roper Center’s RoperExplorer tool. To download or analyze datasets, creation of a personal account is required.
