Library Instruction Program in New Brunswick

Library information literacy sessions may take place in a virtual, hybrid, or in-person model and in accordance with University guidelines. These sessions align with the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education and will be tailored to your course and assignment learning goals.

After submitting the application, your request will be directed to the appropriate instruction coordinator for your school, department, or course. They will work closely with you to schedule the session and determine the content to be covered. Generally, we recommend that the sessions are scheduled after the students have been introduced to the assignment and have begun to develop their research ideas.

Are you an instructor for the Writing Program? Please use the writing program instruction request form.

If you prefer, you can contact one of our subject specialist librarians directly to discuss library instruction options.

We look forward to working with you and your students!

Though optional, a syllabus will help us develop instruction appropriate to the course.
