Most of our circulating collections are available via low- or no-contact Click and Collect service. It's easy! Request materials by signing in to QuickSearch, locating the item(s) you want, and choosing Request Item. Turnaround time is usually 3-5 business days, but may be extended due to material quarantine. You'll receive an email when your materials are ready for pickup, with instructions for making an appointment.

Pickup is available at the following libraries. Before collecting your materials, you'll need to make an appointment via the confirmation email you receive. Choose a library for specific instructions:

We're also offering delivery by mail. You can request this by selecting Personal Delivery > Home Address in QuickSearch. You'll need to confirm or update your address in your QuickSearch account. Please allow a minimum of 7 days for delivery.

If you're scheduling a pickup on behalf of a Rutgers faculty member as part of the Faculty Research Assistant program, please note the faculty member's NetID in the appointment booking form.

Non-circulating collections and items available online are not eligible for Click and Collect or personal delivery. Contact us if you have questions related to these collections.

Click and Collect is limited to Rutgers faculty, staff, and students. Contact us if you have questions about your eligibility.

You can return Rutgers materials to the following libraries, as well as to any library in the Big Ten Academic Alliance (listed here under Member Libraries). Exact return procedures vary by location. Choose your library to view specific return procedures.

Returns might take a while to register in your account due to material quarantine.

Can't remember what you have? Review your QuickSearch account.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL, including E-ZBorrow and UBorrow) has resumed, but you may experience longer delays than usual as our network of partner libraries are in various stages of reopening. You'll receive an email with Click and Collect instructions when your materials are ready for pickup.

Search for materials and submit requests via QuickSearch or request directly in ILLiad. You can also search and request directly in E-ZBorrow or UBorrow.

Submit requests for articles and book chapters by locating the item in QuickSearch, logging in for request options, and choosing Article Delivery or Chapter Delivery. If you prefer, you can log in directly to ILLiad, the article request system (first-time users will need to register).

We've resumed scanning articles and book chapters from our print collections.
