Open Access Scholarship

Open access is a model of scholarly publishing that makes research findings immediately available to the public at no cost. Open access affords readers worldwide an opportunity to access the latest scientific research, while also benefiting authors by increasing the visibility, use, and impact of their work. Moreover, many research sponsors, including federal agencies, require that funded research be made freely accessible to the general public. 

The Libraries provide training and consultation to help researchers make their research openly accessible. We offer guidance on:
