ProQuest Digital Collections is a multi-disciplinary platform with digitized primary and secondary sources from a wide variety of subject areas that are organized into many topical subcollections. ProQuest Digital Collections is the big parent collection that contains all of ProQuest's primary sources collections.  It includes a wide variety of material types, including digitized archival documents, magazines, periodicals, official publications, preserved manuscripts, government documents, musical scores, audio, and video. Though its primary focus is historical content, it also includes current journal publications through the present. When you do a search in ProQuest Digital Collections, you are searching within all these sub-collections' content on the ProQuest platform.

The "Also Available to You" box on the ProQuest Digital Collections homepage links to additional primary source collections available on the Alexander Street primary source platform. These primary sources are available to Rutgers as part of ProQuest Digital Collections but are not included in the ProQuest Digital Collections platform-wide search because they are on a separate platform.
