To find a list of books, textbooks, and electronic articles placed on course reserve by your instructor, enter your instructor's last name and search. You can also use the pull-down menu to search by course title or number.

Meeting Room Use & Rental Policies

The following Rutgers University Libraries meeting rooms are available to rent for events. Spaces may be rented by Rutgers University affiliates and community groups and organizations.


General Rules of Use

  1. Attendance at authorized events may not exceed the maximum room capacity.
  2. Refreshments may be served in some of the spaces, with prior permission, and may require you to contract with custodial services for an additional fee.
  3. Burning of any materials, including incense and candles, is prohibited.
  4. Rooms are available to rent during normal operating hours. Please note, the Libraries are only open to current students, faculty and staff after 10 p.m. Non-affiliated attendees at events that end after 10 p.m. must exit the building promptly at the end of their event.
  5. Events must be conducted in a manner that does not disrupt library operations.
  6. Use of audio-visual equipment in the rooms must be arranged prior to the event.
  7. The Libraries will not provide storage space and assume no responsibility for equipment or personal articles belonging to event organizers or attendees.
  8. The renting organization or group accepts liability for either damage to library facilities or loss of library property and shall be responsible for paying the cost of any damage or loss incurred by the Libraries by the actions of any member of the department, group, or others in attendance during the program. The Libraries are the sole determinant of whether damaged furnishings or equipment can be repaired or must be replaced.
  9. If the Library will be closed due to adverse weather conditions, an attempt will be made to contact the applicants regarding cancellation and possible rescheduling of the room.
  10. The applicant assumes responsibility for participant accommodations (e.g., assistive listening devices, etc.) and specific articles of compliance, as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Maximum Occupancy: 24 each; 48 combined
Room 413 and 415 each have: instructor station with ceiling-mounted projector and screens; 24 student computer workstations (PCs); classroom control software; wireless network (Rutgers-affiliates only); whiteboard. Rooms can be combined to form one large, 48 workstation classroom.

Room set-up can accommodate 32 seats at tables plus 26 additional non-table seating, or xx seats arranged lecture-style.
